NORBERT KORN
Senior Director

I don’t like mottos because they are either “spasmodically funny” or reduce the person in question to one characteristic.

  • Learned finance “from scratch”, now being THE finance trainer at European banks.
  • Can motivate, inspire, and lead people informally (without disciplinary/hierarchical follow-through).
  • Enthusiastic independent entrepreneur all the way to the core.

About me:

Growing up in a middle-class environment with entrepreneurial norms and values complemented by a humanistic school education – this combination has left a noticeable mark on me. I am perceived as sociable, integrating and “grounded”.

In everything that is important to me, mediocrity and “steam chatter” are a dread; both with myself and with others.

I am a judge of character. I became the conductor of a 53-person wind orchestra at the age of 17 and developed my ability to manage people informally. Also, I learned that a coordinated team sounds (or works) better than individual soloists.

Received arguably the best theoretical and practical financial education in the world in Europe, USA and Asia.

My passion is teaching and realizing best financial standards.

Furthermore, I love traveling and delicious food.
